Who says you can't make good work during the pandemic? We couldn't shoot, so we adapted. Here's a great example of that adaptation. This is an explainer video that uses high-end stock video plus VFX (visual effects) and 3D animation to tell our client's story.
Interestingly, this video also helped kick off Froth & Fur's reputation as a post/VFX house and 3D animation studio in Los Angeles and New York. Clients love the high-end and cinematic look we can create for them without the expense of sending a film crew.
We still love filming on location. But we're also thrilled to bring our experience and talent to post-production and VFX.
The VFX work included camera tracking and stabilization, 3D element insertion, and destabilization so the 3D elements moved as if they were part of the original shots. We also did a ton of screen replacement and VFX/AR screen graphics as part of the project.
Patrick had a partnership mentality and a deep understanding of the financial services industry. He was part of the team and worked collaboratively with us in all phases of video production from concepting, to writing the script and interfacing with compliance, to the actual shooting.
What I love most about Patrick and team is that they treat us like a partner, not just a client. They genuinely cared about the success of each video we created and the impact they had on our users and engagement. They had a deep understanding of our brand and positioning, which made it easier to work together and deliver completed videos more quickly.
